В Тындинском музее истории Байкало-Амурской магистрали открылась новая экспозиция — коллекция значков, посвященная строительству «трассы века». Ее собрал главный конструктор специального конструкторского бюро ГлавБАМстроя Я. Д. Пекер. В коллекции — около трехсот значков. Коллекционер сгруппировал их по разделам «Комсомольские ударные отряды», «Города — шефы БАМа», «Строительные организации», «Памятные события стройки», «Культура и спорт».
Коллекционеры оказывают большую помощь краеведам. Так, один из них, заместитель начальника комбината «Якут-углестрой» А. В. Саманков, разыскал у старого лодочника на реке Бурея значок «Лучшему ударнику, Байкало-Амурской магистрали». Оказалось, что этот самый первый памятный бамовский значок выпущен еще до войны.
Сейчас секция коллекционеров в Тынде объединяет несколько десятков человек.

Badges tell the story
A new exhibition has opened in the Tynda Museum of the History of the Baikal-Amur Mainline — a collection of badges dedicated to the construction of the "route of the century." It was collected by the chief designer of the special design bureau GlavBAMstroy, Ya. D. Peker. The collection contains about three hundred badges. The collector grouped them into sections: "Komsomol shock troops," "Cities — BAM patrons," "Construction organizations," "Memorable events of the construction," "Culture and sports."
Collectors are of great help to local historians. Thus, one of them, the deputy head of the Yakut-uglestroy plant, A. V. Samankov, found a badge "To the best shock worker, Baikal-Amur Mainline" from an old boatman on the Bureya River. It turned out that this very first memorable BAM badge was issued before the war.
Currently, the collectors' section in Tynda unites several dozen people.
